Island Spotted Skunk Conservation

Island spotted skunks are endemic to only two islands, Santa Cruz and Santa Rosa Islands. These skunks have been declining in annual live trapping efforts since 2010, and in camera trap captures since 2012. Scientists met in January 2020 to discuss the future of research and conservation for the island spotted skunk.
